What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Nerfs LMGs.
pretty self explanatory

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Sure, plenty of times. The stats of LMGs have been either too OP or too weak for ages, right now they're too OP.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Other weapons are used
Other jobs are used

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
LMG users seethe idfk

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Haven't been killed by someone who has the rank for an autorifleman job with an assault rifle more than 10 times since the gun changes.
Ask anyone who plays infantry, LMGs are definitively better in combat than ARs in every possible way.

Only if rifles stop doing 15 damage all the time, its literally the only reason why LMGs are being used because rifles just suck
Overall the whole weapon changes were done and decreased TTK substantially with all the rifle dmg being like halved.
The TTK is still almost instant with LMGs though, so they're just instantly superior in every way, fire rate, dmg, mag size obv, plus they've got fuck all recoil like the rest of guns.

Idc if anything else gets changed but LMGs need to be nerfed to a degree where they're not the only viable option in combat anymore.

For me personally (to be clear, this is all MY PERSONAL OPINION) what I dislike about LMGs is that they have zero downsides. You get a gun with quadruple the ammo capacity and higher damage while being just as easy to use (spread & walking inaccuracy) as the regular rifles. On top of that the jobs get a heavy shield and +40 armour. If you have the job it's a no-brainer not to use it.

LMGs should have downsides, situations where you should use a rifle over them. They shouldn't be a jack-of-all-trades item.

Pretty much exactly why I made the suggestion icl.

SMGs are godly in CQC but can't be used long range, so anything else is better.
Same for shotguns.
ARs are solid overall.
LMGs are BETTER THAN SMGS/SHOTGUNS CQC, better than ARs in every situation and get bonuses from jobs.

Like auburn said, no downside to LMGs that makes other weapons more viable to use.
Should be adjusted 100%.
