These are some smaller suggestions primarily intended to improve the quality of life for some underused jobs, as well as various things I have noticed while playing that could be enhanced.

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

1) Reduce price of crafting crate. After the removal of science equipment and tape having no use at all there is little use of this crate other than explosives, which is much much easier to get from printers.

2) Add boat dealer to small beach and fix boat dealer at industrials/docks (it says "no spawns available here" when used).

3) Add more manholes for trashman. For old CG the number was in the upper 30's I believe, now it's like 14? Half of them will be empty as well. It just makes trashman tedious to play, and it becomes worse the more people are playing as the job.

4) Allow chefs to buy food from F4 menu. Why? Because having a restaurant anywhere and having to constantly go to food NPC is extremely tedious. Coupled with the fact that you need to memorize recipes or write them down outside the game there's no wonder nobody ever plays this job. This works well on MRP where people kinda need stuff to do at peacetime, and each base has a kitchen which almost all cooking is done. On DarkRP it becomes an extremely user-unfriendly chore. This is a shame since the cooking system is otherwise very cool.

5) Move scavenging and cooking to levels rather than skills. Encourages people to scavenge and play chef to level up, and rewards those who do with better quality food. If you deny this I suggest these two skills at least be merged (and for scavenging to apply to all jobs), because one is basically useless without the other when you can't use level 15 ingredients if you are not max cooking, and if you are max cooking you can not get higher level ingredients to make use of it. This would however lead to one or two vacant skills.

Here are some suggestions for replacements:

Bulk discount: Refund a percentage of the cost when buying a shipment. 5 levels with a 1-3% price reduction/refund per level for example. Allows people to profit more from selling guns and drugs.

New scavenging skill: Increases chance of finding higher quality foods (more good/excellent/perfect) from foodstacks, rather than increasing level. Could also increase hobo rewards from dumpster diving.

6) Change loot bag description from "Bag for storing loot from bank vault" to "Bag for storing gold from the bank vault or jewelry from the jewelry store". This is to make it clear for new players that one is required for raiding the jewelry store. Previously jewelry had it's own bag, but has since been merged into a common lootbag for both heists.

7) Fix jewelry store display cases text. Right now the text becomes invisible depending on the background. See image below:

8) Allow chef to spawn oven fuel, food & drink vending machines like they used to. Especially oven fuel is essential for the job.

9) Give jobs all profits from purchases from their entities (armor station & vending machines). These types of jobs are not even close to being good moneymakers, so why not give them a little boost when they provide services to people. If this is added you should not get money back from buying from your own machines however.

10) Make hotel doors hotel owner only.

11) Increase salary of some underused jobs like hotel owner, casino owner and chef to 500 (current doctor salary). A neat feature for hotel owner might be to increase the salary of the job for every apartment being used/number of people living in the hotel. This would encourage them to attract residents by offering security etc, and award them for succeeding.

12) Make self-supplying cocaine fall under self-supply rule. What is the point of playing BMD if people just spawn the stuff in themselves. What is the point of buying a car to do warehouse missions if you can just spawn in cocaine.

Imma quick fire my opinions!

1) + Support; Heck why not
2) +Support; It's obvs why
3) + Support; Yes again but the latest changelog has this done.
4) +Support; THIS 100%. I've no idea why it is bought from an NPC and just detracts from rp really. It all just needs more a purpose to the job tbh.
5) +Support; We need more reasons for the job to be played.
6) +Support; Just makes things clearer.
7) I see more of a bug than anything.
8) +Support; As said for reasons above.
9) +Support; Yes Yes yes. More reasons to play the job. We've only got 1 dedicated medic atm and he's a fun guy to have, we need to encourage more :)
10) I believe the latest update changed this.
11) The latest update changed this too.
12) +Support; if you just supply it yourself, like the gun dealer it makes the job pointless.

+support for all of this

For the scavenging skill you suggested, I believe having the current scavenging skill already does this as I never get anything under a good quality

Suggestion Accepted

Hi @Umbrella .

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.

You've made quite a few different suggestions within this thread, however almost all of them have either been approved or already completed, therefore I'll mark this suggestion as accepted overall.

1) Accepted - Reduced the price of crafting keys to 30k.

2) Accepted - A ticket is open currently to fix the boat spawning NPCs, they'll be placed one this is done.

3) Accepted - I've added more around the map, please let me know if there aren't enough.

4) Accepted - This should liven up the Chef Job, and isn't hard to implement.

5) Accepted - This will require further discussion, as we'll need to replace the skills.

6) Accepted - A ticket is currently open to change this.

7) Accepted - This has been completed.

8) Accepted - This will pair nicely with giving them spawnable food / ingredients.

9) Accepted - This was an intended feature, however isn't currently on the server.

10) Accepted - Completed by myself.

11) Accepted - Increased some jobs salaries, doubled all PD salaries.

12) Discussion Needed - We've not reached a final verdict regarding this suggestion, and we will need to review it with Coolioo when he's back.

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as accepted.
