Steam ID: My Steam ID is 76561199071484357

Discord name: wildestnugget_29953 AKA: Wildnugget

For how long have you played on CG SCP: I’ve played for 66.65 hours, though I’ve been part of the community longer, using my previous Discord account also named WildNugget. I know this isn’t much compared to other members applying for the same position, but I’d still like to give it a shot. I want to show that it's not just long time members who are interested in such positions, but that newer or less experienced players are just as dedicated. Personally, I don’t believe playtime alone is the most important factor. I think it’s valuable to showcase other skills and experiences that is not only from one server. I realize not many people know me, probably very few in this community, but I’d love the opportunity to discuss this further in the interview.

Age: Nineteen Years Old (19)

In what country are you located?: I am currently located in Sweden.

Time zone: Central European Time zone (CET)

Character name(s): Darrel Junior (SCP Foundation), Mike Jaffari (Chaos Insurgency) & a civilian also named Darrel Junior.

Civilian name: Darrel Junior

What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): I am applying from (CN) SCP-RP UK.

Do you have a mic?: Yes, I do

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: I’ve only held one role within the SCP-RP community, primarily playing as GENSEC. Later, I joined MTF-NU7, which is the only current position I’ve held. However, I’m eager to live up to my role with my skills and am interested in becoming an Ethics Committee Assistant (ECA).
(Currently holding the position of E-11-Private) - Updated
(
Held as NU7-PFC)

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: If I'm not mistaken, I believe I was warned once for killing another D-Class, but that was early on when I first joined the server. I have no intention of doing that again. To the best of my knowledge, I haven’t been kicked or banned.

What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
I would say that my dedication to things I’m interested in, like the Ethics Committee (EC), is strong. I’m particularly interested in starting as an Ethics Committee Assistant (ECA) and eventually progressing to a full member of the Ethics Committee. However, I believe it's important to first gain experience as an Assistant before applying for a full member role. I would want to demonstrate my dedication through my performance as an Assistant.

I consider myself fairly active and can commit 2-3 hours regularly on weekdays, with longer sessions on weekends. This is due to being a university student studying Economics, so while I can’t always be available, but also because everyone has a life outside of the game.

My document creation skills are one of my strengths, developed through previous experiences. I am proficient with structuring and designing well organized, visually appealing documents, including using various tools like templates, images, watermarks and more. I know that document creation can sometimes be frustrating for others, so I believe this could be an advantage. I’m also excited to see how CG’s SCP-RP server handles document creation and what I can learn from that process.

I’m very familiar with roleplaying and truly enjoy it. I love participating in different roleplay scenarios and positions and I don’t mind dealing with the more boring aspects of RP. I know how to engage in roleplay situations, how to handle them professionally and how to deal with people who may not have the intent to roleplay at all.

While I understand that CG may not be interested in my past experiences in different servers, I do want to emphasize that I’m very familiar with RP discipline and professionalism. During my time with MTF-NU7, we followed strict protocols, including logging hours, being active in TeamSpeak channels for comms, and maintaining professionalism. I believe that blending seriousness and role holding is essential and while others may have more experience within the server than I do, I’m particularly interested in roles that focus on research, assisting, documentation, and adhering to protocols. I feel my skills in these areas would be a valuable asset.
I also believe that my general knowledge of the SCP Foundation's lore, the MTFs, researchers, organizations, high command and committees makes me a valuable applicant.
I think having played several times as GENSEC and D-Class will prove useful in how to observe and oversee different aspects.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:

As an Ethics Committee Assistant (ECA), my role would primarily involve assisting in the monitoring and enforcement of the Foundation's ethical standards. This includes observing the behavior of personnel and ensuring that all members adhere to the ethical guidelines set by the Ethics Committee. I would be tasked with documenting any ethical violations or concerns, then reporting them to higher-ranking members of the Committee for further review.

Additionally, I would help review and enforce the Foundation's ethical policies, particularly in areas such as the treatment of D-Class personnel and the handling of SCP objects. I would also assist in investigating any ethical breaches, gathering evidence, conducting interviews and ensuring proper protocols are followed in these situations.

Supporting the Ethics Committee in various administrative tasks would be another key responsibility. I would assist with preparing documents, compiling reports and organizing meetings, helping the Committee run smoothly and efficiently. Maintaining confidentiality would be crucial in this role, especially when dealing with sensitive information or classified reports.

Overall, my role as an ECA would focus on upholding the ethical integrity of the Foundation, ensuring that all actions and decisions align with the moral standards expected of the SCP Foundation.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Backstory:

Darrel Junior wasn’t like most people who ended up in the Ethics Committee. He wasn’t from a long line of powerful family members within the Foundation, nor did he have a background in military or scientific research. He was 19 when he first entered the Foundation, recruited for his strong moral compass and his education in philosophy and ethics.

Darrel had always been drawn to moral dilemmas. From a young age, he was known for questioning the right thing to do, even when the answer wasn’t clear. He excelled in ethics courses, reading about moral frameworks and the great philosophical thinkers, trying to apply those teachings to real world scenarios. But when it came to the SCP Foundation, those lessons were no longer theoretical. Every decision he made now had real, sometimes devastating consequences.

The Ethics Committee was meant to guide the Foundation’s decisions, ensuring that human rights and ethical practices were never compromised, even in the face of the most dangerous anomalies. But Darrel quickly realized that the reality was much grimmer than he ever imagined. The Foundation was a place where the value of human life was constantly weighed against the necessity of containment, and often, containment won. But Darrel wasn’t sure he could accept that—he wasn’t prepared to abandon his moral ideals, even if it meant going against the grain of the Foundation’s practices.

He wasn’t naive, though. He understood that he had to operate within the system, but the longer he worked there, the more it became clear that the ethics of the Foundation were more about convenience than compassion. The young assistant quickly found himself caught between his own beliefs and the reality of the Foundation's endless, dangerous work.

Storylines for Darrel Junior:

A new anomaly, SCP-███, was discovered and classified as sentient—something the Foundation had never seen before. SCP-███ could communicate with human speech and expressed emotions in a way that raised serious ethical concerns. Unlike most SCPs, which were locked away without question, this entity begged for freedom, claiming to be an intelligent being, wrongfully contained by the Foundation.

Darrel was assigned to review the containment protocols, which was more of a formality, as most higher-ranking members of the Ethics Committee were already set on keeping it locked away for study. But Darrel couldn’t ignore the moral implications. What if SCP-███ was right? Was it right to keep a sentient being imprisoned for the sake of experimentation and security?

As he dove deeper into the case, Darrel found himself questioning everything the role of the Ethics Committee, his place in the Foundation and what it meant to do the "right" thing. To most people, the answer was clear: containment. But for Darrel, the truth wasn’t so simple. Every day he spent thinking about SCP-███’s plight, he became more and more convinced that the creature might deserve better, perhaps even freedom. But that would mean going against the entire Foundation’s decision.

In the end, Darrel was forced to decide whether to risk his career and reputation to try and prove that SCP-███ deserved humane treatment, or to stand down and accept the inevitable, that the SCP Foundation would treat this being like any other anomaly.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The SCP's identification is REDACTED. Since this is not canon in any way, it is purely just my imagination and inspiration from the SCP lore's art.

Darrel Junior’s Role in the SCP Foundation:

As an assistant to the Ethics Committee, Darrel Junior’s role was never an easy one. In a world filled with anomalies, political pressure, and moral ambiguity, he was often forced to face ethical decisions that no one else wanted to touch. Whether it was deciding the fate of sentient SCPs, exposing corruption within the ranks, or challenging the Foundation’s increasing militarization, Darrel’s journey was one of constant conflict between his idealistic morals and the harsh reality of the SCP Foundation.

Though still young, Darrel Junior quickly realized that the Foundation’s work was far from black and white. In a world where the stakes were life and death, he had to navigate the grey areas, always questioning whether the choices he made were truly the right ones, or just the least damaging.

If you would like to ask any further questions about me, my previous experiences, etc. Please feel free to do so if I pass to the interview stage. Thank you.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this application.

Thank you,

-Here’s the thing, Morris. I could look at any other applicant's application, run it through AI, and I’d probably get an 80-90% chance that the text is AI written.

-And I was very specific within the application that I am not very familiarized in the community.

-I would mostly trust other recourses and not just a regular detector.

-While applying, that’s what I assumed based on what I’ve seen on the server when I’m active. I also made some guesses by combining SCP lore with RP aspects. I will be bluntly honest about that.

Here is an example: This is Tyler Dorkins application.

-Just a random AI detector.

It says clearly that 98% of the texts content is AI generated.

This is just an example.

I mean from my perspective the application looked completely fine and I myself am not trying to write in half ass grammar.

I even mentioned that I’m using dictionaries to make the application more well written and grammatically structured.

Haven't really seen you around and this application looks heavily influenced by Artificial Intelligence
Thank you for your critic, I really appreciate it and I’m aware that I’m not very familiar around here yet.

To get a better chance next time you apply, if you apply, try and make yourself known. Maybe even go for other ranks like executive, captain or just get in a regiment like Nu-7 or E-11 with a semi-high rank.

goodluck.

I mean, a friend of mine pretty decent friend, named Senko writes like, I don't know, royalty when it comes to him being active in roleplay.
Which is actually hilarious, I would like to remind you that other people have preferences in writing, how you deal with things, strict, focuses, etc.

Not everything is AI. I get that a lot of people rely on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help them out, but not everyone does. Personally, I’m really familiar with RP and I like to structure my writing, even when it’s just communication, except for text messages of course.

Ngl, the "never seen you on" part is kinda meh, just because someone is new or hasn’t been seen much by others doesn’t necessarily mean they lack potential, especially when it comes to interviews. I followed the requirements and even asked others in the Discord if there were any specific requirements to apply and they said: "No, not really".

But I appreciate the critic, lol.

I was a part of NU7 read the application. I specified that I held that position, lol.

Not trying to be disrespectful, but I would appreciate feedback that signifies a person has read the application, so it can be easily connected with the actual application.

Now I havent played in a bit but this caught my eye so here we are, so i'd like to give a bit more constructive criticism without giving an actual + or -.

An application coming out to 93% chance AI written is nuts and not the norm by any means and certainly not something to glance over, and if it were me I would have this application scrutinized as a result.

The responsibilities are a tad bit too vague and to be honest all four points are effectively the same thing just worded differently.

Lore is fine, wouldnt put it in the bible but its passable for an ECA application.

Best of luck, I dont comment often, let alone on assistant apps but this one had alot of traffic so i thought itd be a bit funny.
