What server are you applying for: SCP-RP (USA)

Your Username: Lance 'Sting'

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:645570448

Discord Username: Street0221

Age: 24

What's your current playtime: 2D 20H 19Min

Do you have a mic: No.

Your characters name: Foundation: Lance 'Sting'
Civ: Lance Tarkington

Is this the first application you made? If no, link all previous applications: This is not my first app
1st App: https://civilnetworks.net/community...f-application-billyandgruff-billybob56.38263/

2nd App: https://civilnetworks.net/community...f-application-billyandgruff-billybob56.38634/

3rd App: https://civilnetworks.net/community/threads/scp-rp-usa-staff-application-lance-sting.39362/

Have you received any kicks/warns/bans, and if so, why: 1 warn for RDMing a random dclass (2024), 1x Warn for mass clicking on 939 (Very Early 2026 or very late 2025), and 1 ban for leaving computer open and cousin was being toxic. I have learned not to do these and what not to do when playing SCP or on another job, I have not been warned or banned since.

How many hours can you be on everyday: 5+ Hours Pacific daylight time.

Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in a community: 1 as a Tmod and 1x as a head mod. (SW RP)

Tell us about something that you're proud that you've achieved in-game: Getting Medical Consultant because I felt that was a big step for the site and for it being my 1st CL4 Job. I earned this because I put work and effort into senior doctor showing that I am capable of doing what a consultant can do without a mic and going above and beyond in some medical situations.

Why would you like to become a staff member: I got help from lots of staff during my 1st weeks on this server and I want to help new people like that. Staff is also need some more people to help with tickets and other staff things. I also want to become a staff member to help the staff team out and because they need help with assisting people and taking tickets.

If you could improve something on the staff team, what would it be and how would you do so: Being able to take tickets faster I know it takes a bit and some people say Staff take ticket in ooc because they have been waiting for a bit.

I haven't had any personal interactions with you, though that may change as I intend to spend a lot of time as Combat Medic, so I'm not able to provide any personal feedback but I'd like to give you some pointers on how to improve your app so that you can better present all that you'd be bringing to the team:

For your warnings/kicks/bans I would recommend providing a brief explanation as to why you did the things you did and how you learned from them.

For how many hours you can be on, try giving us insight as to what times of day you'd be able to be on for 5 hours regularly, in either GMT or EST.

For your previous experience, you should detail the dates at which you were a TMOD / HMOD and what type of community (darkrp, scprp etc) it was. Make sure not to mention the community by name, of course. You should also provide us some insight into some of your duties / accomplishments in those positions.

For your achievements ingame, try telling us something you've accomplished as a medical consultant - how did you earn that position? What did you do to make it there? What are some of your priorities as a medical consultant? You're also an ECA and OSA - tell us a little bit about what you've accomplished in those positions as well.

For "why" you'd like to become a staff member, I'd recommend thinking critically about what you want to bring to the team, and what you want to accomplish. Are you interested in any particular staff team (Platform, Content, Events or Resources)? If so, why are you interested in those teams? Think beyond just helping new players, as there is far more to being a staff member than that and I am certain you can think of more that you'd enjoy & want to do with the team.

For the last point, I'd like to encourage you to think more on this answer and try to consider what aspects of the staff team outside of the day-to-day could do with improvement. While handling & resolving tickets efficiently could definitely be an area for improvement, and you could improve it yourself by being an available staff member and handling those tickets, what are some other areas you could think of that we could be doing better?

When I applied, I also took some time to look over multiple approved & denied staff applications for inspiration as I don't think I'm very good at applications. If it weren't for the answers from some strong applicants encouraging me to think critically, I would not have been able to make as good an app as I did. I'd encourage you to read through my app, Abner's app, boku's app & Krennic's app for examples of what I said above. Make sure you don't copy any of answers from another applicant, but just let their answers encourage & guide you on how to expand upon your own thoughts.

Best of luck!
