What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Balancing what regiments have what shotguns, as currently some regiments get pump shotguns and others get basically full auto shotguns

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Dont think so, not specifically Shotguns

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Makes it more fair (rather then a RMP 1 tapping you from the other side of TY with a fully auto shotgun)
Allows shotguns to be used more often and more balanced in close quarter combat

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
People might not like shotguns dont 1 tap from ages away

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
With the current shotguns some are way more OP then other for example the RMP shotgun is automatic and 1 taps from a good distance, where as something like the IVG shotgun that is a pump shotgun sometimes does 20 dmg up close, this balance allows all regiments to get a chance of shotgun close quarter combat without it being too unbalanced

Shotguns are near impossible to balance perfectly. They'll either be utterly useless or broken. Shotguns have never really been used on this server and the only time it still gets used is in bunker or such CQC points where it proves vialable.

Shotguns are still to be rebalanced but it really is just a coinflip of how it turns out to be as it's horrid to balance them., and no shotgun one taps from further than 4-5 meters away even if you ADS and if it does then go to the funny weapon balance channel.

Simple balance would be
Pump Shotguns do more damage overhaul
Automatic Shotguns, require multiple presses, instead of holding m1 (just faster firing overhaul)
Remove the long range shotguns, that's not a shotgun, that's a sniper tbh

Shotguns are meant be powerful, they are 6, 8, 12 gauge etc shells, it would be more or less like getting shot 12 times at once with a rifle, the damage is suppose be high, but the further away, less shells hit, less damage, it's dumb a shotgun at Close asf range does 30? Same damage as a rifle

the shotguns are fine they have short range and what do u expect when u get shot by a shot gun in short range

The shotgun does need to be Rebalanced since if you know how utilize it.
Its only Good CQC for example clearing bunker or houses.
if you want to Kill someone from far away use your Main Rifle that's why they updated the Engineer kit to have your Main Assault Rifle and shotgun as secondary.
its a skill issue from what I'm seeing.

Hi @Skyric , Your suggestion has been denied. This suggestion was denied due shotguns are hard to balance since they are a pellet system not a bullet so you are getting hit by multiple not just one and SAS and STS have the only automatic shotgun within that clip the RMP was shooting as fast as he could Thank you for taking the time to make a suggestion​
