Denied Tactical Response Teams

This suggestion has been denied and will not receive development.

Not open for further replies.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Make a level required regiment that spawns in Heavy Containment Zone in assistance of E-11 as the new HCZ is way too much for only E11 to handle.

The branch would be called Tactical Response Teams with the suggested models
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2939889679

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Server Health boost
- More roleplay chances for other Departments
- New exciting branch for people to try

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Finding a spawn area
- Possible removal of Containment Specialist
- Chaos Insurgency and SCP minor nerf

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Most breaches cause nukes or are simply so long and when they end the queue breaches another SCP causing an infinite cicle, adding TRT would probably give more roleplay chances to other Dpts

+ support in lore it makes sense for theese to exist as mtf regiments are not stationed on base, i hope theese get added as it would make a more diverse job range. They should be good but slightly worse then E-11, make it like the gensec of E-11 they would man checkpoint and stuff, also with the addition of a second checkpoint they could man that one while E-11 guards the primary checkpoint.

You COULD change it to this(And it would be cool), or you could just buff containment spec

so basically ert but... spawns in hcz?

tbh +support but...
-i think the spots need to be limited a lot, maybe 5 spots at most
-it needs a name change lmao
-not sure if this is possible, but it would be cool if it could be locked until an scp was breached, and at that point you could play as "trt"
-it should be, as you said, a highly level locked job. maybe something like total level 100 and combat level 25

egg.

+ / - Support

- the idea sounds nice, it’s adding a fully new team which is nowhere near common
- as silvestro said, it makes more sense lore-wise for there to be a team that is already specialised in HCZ / SCPs. This could count as part of the general security department even!

-we could just buff Containment specialists, maybe even increasing the requirements to become one instead of adding another job
- imo, it feels like its a bit too soon to start making such big changes. Sure, E-11 is nowhere near as strong now but it’s mostly because we aren’t adapted to HCZ, similar to when the TG update came and all TG breaches were code blacks. Give it like a week or two and if things dont change then MAYBE putting such a big suggestion seems like a good idea

Tactical Response Team is a real thing in lore and is used to guard scps at most sites.

Instead of adding them as their own thing, make a separate security which consists of:
Requires Training, then whitelist:
Security Agent (CL3) 5 Slots
Sr. Security Agent (CL3) 3 Slots
Security Manager (CL4) 2 Slots
Requires Training, Licence then whitelist for others.
Tactical Response Officer (CL3) 4 Slots
Tactical Response Sergeant (CL3) 2 Slots
Tactical Response Captain (CL4) 1 Slot

The tactical response names could be different

+/- Neutral
Would be nice, but may be a bit too overpowered for Foundation. Could potentially let it only be accessible after ERT fails?
That way Foundation gets a large boost to help a situation that is getting out of hand, but it won't nerf the shit out of smaller breaches.

TRT is significantly weaker than ERT and also weaker than E11, its just an assistance force
