What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:

I know that I am a great candidate because of the amount of experience I held. Starting with ISD, in ISD I was able to get up to Commissioner twice where I helped the department through some strange times with the help of others. Here I managed to learn my basic skills in the server, leadership, teamwork and showing initiative. ISD also assisted me with my documentation work. Moving onto my experience as an OSA twice, where I expanded my skills of documents and started to learn a lot more of teamwork as I was working alongside A1 to carry out orders for the O5 and also to assist them with their duties. Being selected as -1 PA was also gave me my boost in confidence as I knew I was doing the right thing as an OSA. My main source of experience was when I was a site Manager, I learned a lot of skills from here. I joined when there was no SA besides me and another advisor and the help from FCOM. I manged to sort out systems to make sure SA would be able to run smoothly until we gout our new director and sort of rebuilt it. When I was promoted to Site Manager from my good work my duties expanded a lot more, from dealing and assisting with Advisors to creating new ideas or enforcing old ones. I am sure most of my colleagues from the days would be able to back me up in saying that I was a good member of SA. Now with all my experience I think I would be a perfect candidate.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:

ECAs have a lot of responsibilities in RP and some of them include:

  • Approving documents
  • Enforce the FLC and orders of the EC
  • Work alongside O1 to assist EC or their duties
  • Acts as the eyes and ears of the EC when they are unable to
  • Attend meetings in the EC stead when they can't
  • Carry out investigations that the EC assign

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Brayan Murry started work with the SCP Foundation in quiet determination and eagerness for adherence to procedure. He began as an Investigator. Reports about his abilities soon surfaced that he was the man who could see those patterns most usually missed by others, piecing together scattered reports, cross-referencing records, and spotting inconsistencies. When properly addressed, this would indicate much deeper problems within operations. Senior staff noticed his detailed work and calm disposition; he was promoted to Inspector within a few years.
In that position, Murry started getting famous for his calm ways of resolving extremely volatile situations. When conflicts between departments became intense, he could act as a mediator without pushing any side away from him, and thus earn the trust of Security Officers and Research Directors on both sides. His balanced approach to enforcement — firm when necessary but always rooted in fairness — made him a valuable asset. He finally got an appointment as Commissioner, in which he was supposed to have oversight over several departments simultaneously. It is at this point that he came up with the notion that leadership works best when it supports rather than controls those under its care.

Once Brayan Murry managed to apply and get accepted to join the Site Administration team he finally used this as an opportunity to excel and fly in his career. He managed to help rebuild SA from the ground and get it on hits legs again. Once in SA and after he was promoted to manager he started to gain a significant amount of weight which led to his obesity problem. This eventually led to Brayan getting in contact the the ethics committee to try and seek a solution. The solution was something that Brayan feared the most. A diet. Even in the presence of hearing that word Brayan was close to moving away until he was forced to go on one my the Ethics Committee. Overtime Brayan managed to loose his weight, leading to an increase in productivity in SA.

In my time as SA while he was professional he was also a very "random" person, not sure how to phrase it. He assisted me in a lot of endeavours over many roles and genuinely created an enjoyable experience when he was leading RP.

Ah shit... Here we go again.
Very neutral, mostly based on you minging the first few days of ur comeback.
But my experience with you in the past (before the info wipe) was good. App also looks good.

Good luck , Brierre Murren.
Hello! Thanks for the response! With the minging that has stopped. It was just after a break I came back and now I’m sucked back into the CN loop. But minging has stopped

Looks like I do have to comment, considering two members wanted me to explain my reasoning. I have 2 reasons, and I am not going to go deeper than that. I didn't want to write anything, mostly because of the second reason.

  • I remember we were speaking out of character regarding what OSA does and whatnot, and you seemed excited to go for it again. I was supporting your application too. However, once you got accepted, you went inactive very fast. Not inactive in the sense of being completely gone from the server, but mostly gone from the OSA whitelist again. The first time you were active, I did not see much roleplay on your part.

  • Now, this reason, I had no clue how to type it because it's slightly inappropriate for me to say what you did, so I won't say what you said directly. You don't have this on your warnings because my best guess is that they gave you a verbal warning for what you did. Less than a month ago, someone made a very good joke in OOC chat regarding your SA character, Brayan Murry. Your reply was quite 'shocking' and it was immediately deleted by the moderators. I know we did not have the greatest interactions with each other, but what you said that day in OOC really surprised me, considering your previous experience as a Senior Clearance Level 4 personnel. Since it was less than a month ago, this is my second reason I am giving -Support.
Edit: Apparently, you do have it in your warnings, looks like I missed that one.

Hello Norton, I was warned for toxicity, as you can see is my warnings. Someone made a fat joke about my SM character, Brayan Murry, as you said. I replied with "kys" as a joke. But since I have been warned about it, I know not to do it again. And with the inactivity from OSA. I was not inactive for a JR CL4 position; instead, I was serving as Site Administration, as that was my main senior position on the server.
