Becoming a director is the next natural step in progression within the department, and the final one at that.
I have always looked up to my DoRs, to Engallagher and Jack, and the motivation for this application is the same as the one for my executive position: I want people to find me reliable and to look up to me in the same way I do to my own.
Becoming director brings with it the direct exposure to the other dept leads and SC, making way for great RP potential, which overshadows even the executives' already great one.
Besides those, it is an actual position of leadership where I would get some nice experience of it.

Mirai Archaeus can be seen getting up from a chair, putting on his top hat.
Three (3) members of MTF A-1 are also seen, with two D-class, both cuffed, one blindfolded and gagged.
O5-2 (off-screen): Come on, director, let's get this over with.
Mirai: Of course, sir, but don't rush this.
He opens a large box, revealing an oblate spheroid in a padded slot, with internal mechanisms visibly moving on their own. Mirai then picks it up with his right hand and sighs deeply.
Mirai: Right, let us begin. Sir, please proceed.
O5-2 comes in frame, wearing his black outfit. He carried a small golden statuette.
O5-2: Let 0995 in, the rest of you get out. Now. Global command - [DATA CORRUPTED]

D-0995, unrestrained, now holds the golden statuette and is mildly smiling.
O5-2 holds a pair of softballs tied together, with a regretful expression.
O5-2 then shouts like never before: It is DONE, come back in NOW.
The A1 and Director of Research Mirai walk back inside, with the other D-class still cuffed.
Mirai: Preconditions complete. Commencing invoking rite. Cover distress.
The A-1 respond by lightly restraining D-0995, blindfolding and putting earmuffs on his head.
The other D-class is placed in the empty space in the meeting room.
Mirai, holding FRD-271-X1, approaches the blindfolded D-class, with a vacant expression.
Mirai: Cum hoc, tutus es.
The device starts glowing and a sigil forms underneath his feet, spinning in place.
*A whispering is picked up by audio input devices, source unknown*
One MTF A-1 steps forward and aims his weapon at the D-class.
Mirai: Trigger.
Weapon is discharged once. The cuffed D-class falls limp.
Mirai: Come.
The D-class' body quickly melts down into a black tar, leaving only his skull intact.
Mirai's floor sigil is sucked into it, turning into a cyan translucent sword, which pierces the skull and implanting itself into the floor.

Mirai: Death's Mark ready. Lure up.
O5-2 is seen clenching his chest for a moment, before a dark winged entity manifests through unknown means. It quickly moves to float above the marker.
O5-2: Hold it, god dammit!
The director is seen quickly place four (4) prisms around the entity.
Mirai: GROW!
The mark grows and spins faster, smoke emitted from the skull.
D-0995 is unblindfolded and released, looking with despair at Death itself.
D-0995: Oh god...
He starts walking closer.
D-0995: Oh dear god...
*A deep voice is picked up by audio input devices, source unknown*
Azrael: You would not try to run this time, [-2 NAME EXPUNGED]?
D-0995: Not this time.
With a tearful expression, D-0995 looks at O5-2 and gives a militaresque salute, before moving straight to the entity.
In a shadowy veil, both the entity and D-0995 disappear, the Death's Mark disappearing. Silence falls.
O5-2: Forget you heard a name or I'll make you forget it myself.
A-1&Mirai: Yes, sir.
O5-2: Director Archaeus, with this... it worked? I'm free?
Mirai: Sir, with this, you are now unharmed. Forever.
O5-2 grabs the nearby A-1's sidearm and hands it to the director.
O5-2: If you're sure.
MTF A-1 looks very nervous but don't protest.
Mirai picks up the M9 pistol.
Mirai: With that, the Death-Binding ritual is complete. You should now be...
He discharges a shot into O5-2's chest, then puts the pistol down on the table. A-1 all aim their weapons at him but -2 stops them.
Mirai: ... unharmed. Hoc te protexit.
The flattened bullet pierces only his outfit, hurting him... not at all.
O5-2 then clear his throat: I'm impressed. Good work. Global command - Loopback over [DATA EXPUNGED]
