Why are you applying for Chief of Medicine?
The main reason I am applying for Chief of medicine is to further advance my RP career and to have the ability to assist more inside of the medical department, I would also like to try my hand at making the medical department more organised and stable by giving trainees licences and showing them the ropes on what they are meant to be doing, also helping out doctors with their RP.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Medicine?:
I believe I would make a good chief of medicine due to my good RP sense and quick ability to think on the spot, I have been playing in medical since I first joined the server and have been loving it since and I would very much like to further advance my medical RP and become a CoM where I can further help out around the server with new responsibilities
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
Since it's new to the UK site, I am going to explain how to fix a fracture using the new method I have been shown, First step is finding out what body part has the fracture by using the full body scanners in the Trauma bay, Next, you go over to the medical cabinet and grab the drug that matches the body part on the screen, you then take the drugs that you have just brought and place it into a Beaker, then from the beaker you empty it into a Drug pot and have the patient consume it from the pot after which their fracture will be cured.
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine in RP?:
The main responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine are to train up trainees and give them the medical licence test, making sure that the medical department is running smoothly and everyone is operating correctly, and making sure all medical personnel are sticking to the CoC and the CoE
Please give some lore about your Chief of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Sebastian Michalis started out in the facility as a trainee, brought in for his excellent work in pinewood, he was noticed by Agents on surface and they made the DoM aware of his skills and he was promptly hired. After years of working at the facility and making his way to the rank of Combat Medic Sebastian was well known around the facility for his skill and good work ethic.
During a roitine checkup of Researcher [REDACTED] he noticed a instance of SCP 3020, he then quickly backed away and disgarded his gloves in the contamination bin, he then made his way over to the PA systems and said "A instance of SCP 3020 as been found inside of a researcher personnel, please back away from any personnel near and and do not make contact, make your way over to your departments designated quarantine bays, thank you." due to his fast response to this SCP-3020 instance the site was quickly able to destroy all instances that were found inside other personnel and sebastian had stopped a potentially huge breach from accuring in the upcoming days.
He was approached by the Director of Medicine and he offered sebastian a promotion to Chief of Medicine to which he accepted and would be starting his career the very same day.
