What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
The current mechanics are unclear, but respawns appear to be linked to either death count or K/D ratio. Accumulating deaths results in respawn times for non-FOBs being increasingly delayed, particularly during intense fighting. This makes features like tac inserts and rally points become practically unusable for many players by the middle of a war (200s waits to use them). By their nature infantry are going to die a lot, particularly if they're prioritising an objective over kills. They shouldn't be penalised so heavily for this.
An alternative might be to set every spawn onto a 20s timer like FOBs, but that might interfere with server perks. Simply having a standard respawn time would suffice.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Less dependency on FOBs for respawns.
- increased utility of tac inserts, rally points and LAV HQs.
- Players spend less time queueing to respawn when FOBs are destroyed.
- FOB camping becomes less effective.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- FOB camping becomes less effective.
- Newer players can more easily waste rally point spawns.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Respawn location assets are important and should not be rendered ineffective by long respawn cooldowns.
