My suggestion change/add the D-Block, and Security Sector

D-Block

D-Block Lockdown
We’re trying to change the D-Block lockdown
access from Clearance Level 2 to Clearance Level 3, with added special keycard access
Biometric: True

• Security Response Unit
• Security Guard ( If the D-Block lockdown is abused, the access result will be removed )

D-Block Maintenance Storage Vent
We have decided to add a special access maintenance storage vent Clearance 3

No, I was the first time made the suggestion

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):​

• I’m not sure if the Security Response Unit heard about the hacking in the maintenance vent, but they may be allowed to enter. However, they need the required combative clearance level 3 to access the D-Block Vent

• The Security Response Unit may be granted access to the armory, but only if necessary, including equipment like Scramble helmets and night vision goggles ( Thanks Thato )

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:​

• Foundation staff with Clearance Level 2 may not have proper access to the D-Block lockdown option, which can lead to abuse, as lockdowns could be falsely triggered when there’s no actual SCP threat.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:​

D-Block

Pros:

• The General Security Department provides control over everything, including the ability to initiate a D-Block lockdown if there’s an SCP breach or the presence of SCP-008 spores.

Cons:

• Non-combative Foundation staff with Clearance Level 2 can easily abuse the D-Block lockdown, falsely triggering it, causing job abuse, and running uncheck

Pros:

• The highly trusted Security Response Unit can patrol and perform duties in the D-Block at any time

Considering , the Lockdown should only be Activated when an SCP is inside of there. Shouldnt the SCU also have access to activate the Lockdown ?

Well, yes, the SCU is allowed to initiate a lockdown to ensure they check for any SCP or SCP-008 spores

I’m not sure, but I asked Metro if special access with biometrics could be allowed, and he hasn’t responded yet

I agree with SRU having access to armory, vents, and lockdown but I don't agree that guards are given special access to use lockdown, as someone said I do think it should be a bio cl3

It’s mostly security guards who don’t read the GenSec Handbook or signs during a Code 2, especially when there’s no SCP threat. They keep the lockdown active for no reason, which shows a lack of understanding or proper knowledge

1st and 3rd one are fine, Vent one I'm mixed on as that more so affects D-Class

my edits to ur suggestion: override clearance (its keypad cl3) for just SRU (cl2 role) (lockdown & SS armoury). make it so when you enter the storage door its cl3 with override clearance only for SRU and going out is normal cl3 or maybe both sides biometric and entering side is override clearance for SRU.

This isn't what I was referring to, I was referring to when D-Class have to open or hack that said door.
This is also a IC thing that does not have to be followed OOC.
