What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the position of Chairman of the Ethics Committee, the reason I apply is many, but I will give you my best reasoning below.
My Values
When it comes to the position, the whole idea is to take charge, being the boss is no easy task, and I wish to burden myself with the weight that will hold me down for this position, I am headstrong on my values, always setting a goal or keeping to a designated path, which is needed as Chairman, the purpose of the Committee is many, but those things must remain on a strong path, why does this ponder in my reasoning on why I wish to be Chairman? because I want to ensure the Committee provide a "Correct" approach to how they interact with the player base, I understand that when a player joins this server, their curiosity grows with what aspect they can find themselves in this maze they have ventured into, I want to provide that experience, but most of all, I want to ensure that the people I command and conduct, provide that experience to the best of their ability, I ensure this as the leading figure, same way O5-1 will ensure this.
Unity
There has been an Issue that has plagued Foundation Command for a very long time, although its getting better this past year, the issue I wish to fight and emerge from, is the conflict between both Foundation Commands, when it comes to being a Chairperson, a boss, United as one is the most effective way to push forward, and when it comes to Out of Character Conflicts against the Council, I wish for this to cease in all aspects, I wish to never ensure that a conflict never erupts, but instead to become allied, fighting problems together, for the sake of Server Health and Ingame roleplay, I want to fix issues that have been long lasting, bickering here and there shall cease and we should move on for more graver issues. The next reason for what Unity I want within the Committee, is the Cooperation with Server Leadership, our goal is the same in different aspects, providing and ensuring the continued roleplay of our player base, this I will lay down my full cooperation with my boss if accepted into this position, being Senior Server Leadership, head of roleplay health.

With everything being stated above, it leaves questions unanswered, what will I do in this position? What are my plans? How will I conduct them?
I wish to be transparent with the people, so I will set the infrastructure on what I will do in office on from day 1
Step 1: Evaluation of the current committee legislations, this being the Code of Ethics, Committee Handbook and any other peace of policy or legislation controlled by the Committee, I wish to ensure that all legislation is first correct, necessary and does not hinder "Foundation" roleplay with endless bureaucracy, the Committee dictates what is necessary, let's make that so, if that requires a full rework of all documentation stated, so be it, a plan will be drafted, executed and completed to ensure this is in full effect.
Step 2: Set a baseline on what is expected from the Players leadership, the Committee is incharge of Behaviour, but we wonder, where is that baseline standard, as it has not been known or set in so long, people forget what the purpose of the Committee is on this server, the original purpose of why this department still exists, by setting a Standard, this will promote quality among players, setting an aspect of what we expect from or Commanders, our Dpt. Directors our leaders, without rules there is no order to carry things, I will ensure this order is put in place as plan number 2, we want people who can and will Roleplay, who will give that "Foundation" environment that people join for, for without that, why would anyone want to player a server about the SCP Universe, when nothing within it is acting as if they are part of that Universe.
With my transparency, these are just few my goals for this position, I am here to conduct myself on the will of the player base, doing what is necessary and ensuring a correct approach, which I've always wanted to ensure, this is why I apply for this position as the grave opposition, they ask for a candidate with experience, I have them a candidate with experience and a goal that goes back 2 years.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I believe that my overall standing on everything makes me the perfect candidate for the Chair position, I am Knowledgeable, currently holding an Administrative position since September 2024, helping in every aspect that I can in my current capabilities, my skill set is long term administrative work, understanding how every system works within the server and outside in the culture of the server in both Staff and Roleplay leadership positions, my past experience as the Committee was intensive, always seeking out a better tomorrow every single day in my position of the past, I have the drive and motivation to make a plan and do what is right for the community, always putting the player base above myself in regards to everything I do, I have morals and standards that I'll never break, setting me apart from many people, always remain head strong on my goal, with no temptation that can sway me out of that path, I am a self learner, if I do not know something, I am willing to learn and move forwards with my new skills, making mistakes, but over coming them being an advantagious trait of mine, I never give up and negativity does not way me down which is required of a leader, my willingness to always help and point people in the correct direction, helping many achieve their goals or learn from their mistake to remain in a place they wish to stay.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
As Committee Chairman, the responsibility in Roleplay would be to oversee your Committee Members to ensure they are continuously providing Role-play for their player base either through Roleplay leadership events or Gamemaster events, this can be conducted in many ways which then provides a deeper atmosphere for the player base.
The Committee Chairman is responsible for the law book, referred to as the Code of Ethics, they ensure this book currently matches the current Culture of the Site, ensuring that Efficiency coincides with human rights and working standards, this is to ensure that wasting resources is not an option and behaviour is maintained through the site, furthering on, the Chairman ensures that all Committee members are enforcing this handbook when it comes to the overseeing of all assets within the Foundation, especially when it comes to senior personnel who work for Site-65. With the Committee being a Clearance level 5 position, they are responsible for the Authorisation of many on-site safeguards during breaches or hostile actions taken against the site, this usually in all regards gets handed down to Site Administration as a 1st Priority, but when things get severe, they have a more extreme measure of authorisation of Nuclear Warhead, referred to as "The Alpha Warhead" Formally called the "Omega Warhead" in 2022 when it use to wipe surface as well.
With the Committee, there is endless possibilities on what Roleplay can be generated, as the controller of one of the law books, with the Council, they control what can and will happen when it comes to the day to day session of each player who joins the server, having a cascading domino effect for what policy they remove, change or release, this is the trust handed down to the Roleplay leaders of the server from Server Leadership, with every move being signed into law or changing the aspect of everything within Site-65.

Ethics Committee Chairman with the Committee Members is Responsible for many things, these are the following:
-Acceptance or Denial of Director of Internal Security Applications
-Acceptance or Denial of Ethics Committee Assistant Applications (Currently done through an ECM with Chairman permission)
-Acceptance or Denial of Ethics Committee Member Applications
-Appointment of the Commander of Omega-1 "Law's left hand"
The Chairman is Responsible being the final point of contact within the server along with O5-1, they are the final step of which a complaint goes to before it can be handed up to Server Leadership in regards to Server health, their whole purpose is around the aspect of keeping server health the best it possible can be, in their duties as Chair, this is done in unity with the O5 Council, ensuring a strong Out of Character bond to provide the player base with the best possible Roleplay by opening up ventures or being the cause of Roleplay themselves.
The Chairman is responsible for responding to Level 2 Demotion appeals administered by Committee Members, this is conducted on the Forums.

Walter Alan Unrich is an Inspirer, Inspiring those to become a better version of themselves, his Key Initiative in situations that need him never seems to falter, he loves a good lecture, especially when it feeds his strive for knowledge and personal Growth, he is a man of Strong Values on what makes him, HIM, in a room, you will notice him, and he will stand out as someone who is different from the rest, with this being said, he is private about himself, and his past, No one really knows where he truly came from, but his Birth place lies within Northern Ireland, Born and Raised, his arrival within Canada is striked as Unknown, with his Career at the Foundation being the only thing attaching him to his whereabouts in Canada, he stands at 6,4, weighing around 113 Kilos, Hazel Eyes with a Dense but partly refined body, Short Brown hair, Bearded Jawline, his cheeks being slightly marked from that of a scolding knife.

Walter Alan Unrich, enlisted within the Foundation, within the Department of Internal Affairs, his keen eye for Disobedience, his ability to spot a mistake within regulations, made him a perfect candidate for Internal Affairs, endeavouring into what he enjoyed, as an Operative, his independent ability to enforce what was right, was astonishing, seen by many, his knowledge grew with experience, learning everything necessary, and far beyond that, this, leading to his interest in the Role of Ambassador, a new rank he had his eye on, he knew, understood, and took on the task of IA Ambassador with no doubts and regrets, flourishing in this new position, his leadership skills, his initiative to help others, pushing IA to the limits, his motives were the motives of the Internal Affairs, his duty was to deliver that, of what was expected of him, long hours, hefty debates, and many many duties later, it was time for the spot of Director, he felt ready than ever, his Experience made him a key Candidate.

Director of Internal Affairs, he made it this far, but there is no stopping now, Walter Unrich had a will to grow with compassion, respect and prosperity, within his role of Director he saw problems that needed fix, he knew problems before they were even there for others to see, with a task at hand he got to work, the first implementation was the rework and revolutionising of the Internal Affairs baseline infrastructure, this included a way to track the activity of his Ambassadors, showing near perfectly accurate results on the working hours of his CL4 administrative team, this not only improved the activity from a huge margin, but also increased the daily workload that Ambassadors took on. Internal Struggles were met with corrections, from the improvement of Agents, pushing an agenda that agents come first, making it known that agents aren't just our ground force, but the soul of the department itself, Walter had a plan in mind, integrity of the department is always the first step to a successful department, understanding that there was always one thing lacking, professionalism, a department as of which enforces that of the CoE, CoC and the Legal Codex, it is without a doubt one must be professional in a high regard for these responsibilities to earn respect and take place, an announcement was made, internally at first for opinions, one that would set out a "No Tolerance" for everyone with Internal affairs, towards one of our biggest problems, Professionalism, a No Tolerance to the breach of integrity of the very grounds the department was built on, Publicly announcing DIAs next agenda, full enforcement and control for what makes IA, IA, its professional standard to do it correctly, in a calm and understanding manner.

The Walter Unrich has returned, for a call of hope from an unlisted source, a need for help to reincorporate what was once prosperous in the dawn of time, a past that needs brought back, a past that grows ever so closer, the dictation, enforcement, discipline, and prosperity of Internal Affairs will return by my hands, with the help of all who wish to grab a peace, Walter knows what is wanted, what is needed, and where to get it.

Walter Unrich awakens from the depths of retirement, his rest not long lived, an unpredictable future awaits as he pushes forward into his old past, his memories of the foundation locked behind that of blocked neuropathways placed carefully by the Committee, he is an agent of the Law, reawaken for the purpose of improvement, improvement not of self, but to raise everyone with him to feats they never knew was possible, Walter is here to uphold the goals of the Foundation, he does not know self gain or fulfilment, he controls a desire to live for himself, as that is not his person, Walter awaits his future demise.
