What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[This would give O-1 Operative the AN-94 and the A-1 Operative the EBR.]

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
[Plenty of weapon changes have been put forward for AO but the difference is now that we have 2 unused guns already balanced for their respective classes in need of their own non-perma gun.]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[This would allow for both jobs to have their own original guns.
This would make use of guns already in the server.
This would not be overpowered and in need of balance as they have already been balanced.
This would add more active weapon diversity fulfilling the point of adding the new guns.
]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[I can't at this time think of a negative for the this, beyond the weapons being put on a job without slot limit, but they are on a regiment with a 25 cap and near never more than 10 on.]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[As stated, the guns are already balanced and unused and would allow for more weapon diversity to the server.]

Classic case of a change being suggested without consulting all those involves :freeze:
dont need to consult anyone to make a suggestion lol thats the point of a suggestion

this is like, the best single target rifle in the game that it's hitreg is fixed, and you want to give it to O-1 PVT's?
If either gun prove to be too weak or strong and or for any reason unbalanced despite having already been in the associated regiments, then they can easily be nerfed or buffed as necessary. But with the only complaint having been from US O-1 that it didn't register hits (which has been fixed) the gun should be fine. If not Supers have the ability to change stats in gsme so it's not that hard of a fix and needs no Dev intervention.

They didn't fix the Hit Reg, The main thing they suggested as the issue was too high of fire rate. That was not fixed the model was fixed. Again this change was not run by O-1 on both sides and neither side is agreeing to this change. I believe the A-1 change could be good for you guys but the EBR is quite broken all the A-1 COs know its broken hence why they want it reverted that is up until about 10 or so minutes ago since their gun got buffed by NL.

Tbh bro idc which gun a1/o1 opeartive gets but something that makes an Iconic gun to a1/o1 again
the arx is a perma everybody has it, is this comment section theres probly 80% that either have the arx or vhs so is it really iconic to a1/o1 anymore?
Might as well remove the Perma Arx and vhs to make it iconic to A1/O1 but then everybody complaints about it that arx and vhs is gone as perma so why just not change the gun?so shrimple

-support, thinking of a new gun is an idea and could definitely be thought of by the content team, however the AN-94 was removed from officer jobs because it had hit registration issues because of how fast it was fired, which if it was given to operatives would make the same issues that were already resolved through giving officers the vsh, the vhs also cooks and is a already good weapon to have on its own

That's basically my point yeah. Can be anything but I used AN94 and EBR because both are already associated.

The main issue with ARX and VHS is they got nerfed into the ground because everybody was using them and SSL wanted to change that. But now both the jobs have guns that get out preformed by basically anything else in their class and again, everybody has it.

It would be cool for A1 and O1 to have an entry-level unique rifle again but the EBR was kept in CO hands.

It COULD go to enlisted but it would probably need stats tweaked. One reason why the guns also were taken out is for buggy animations

"Buff A1 nerf O1 plz" ah suggestion
Ah yes, the O-1 nerf of, let me see here... giving them a gun with less recoil, more damage, and comparable firerate in a attempt to add more weapon diversity, something O-1 has been asking for, for over a year.

Very substantial nerf certainly.

Again, the AN94 isn't the only gun they could get but if you read the suggestion, it was used as it was already balanced for the class (same with EBR) and would be a easy placement.

I didn't think O-1 would have a issue with it as
1. The gun was fixed, and when it was a SL even came into O-1 comms to let them know it was fixed
2. CI had little to no problems with the gun, and never noticed a hitreg issue out of the ordinary (US CI at least)
3. UK O-1 Command loved the AN94 for the year or more I was in O-1.
4. It's better than the VHS which was nerfed for being overused by the playerbase (SSL having stated such in messhall)

What I didn't take into account when making the suggestion was how people who never even got to O-1 CO (to use the gun they so greatly hate apparently) would swarm because a CO said to, not bothering to test the gun after the fix devs made for it.
