- What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion will add Viral Outbreak events that will occur at random intervals from every 2 - 3 hours (or more). The virus that people become infected with as a result of these outbreaks will be very infectious and capable of spreading from person to person via proximity and coughing. This can be negated by wearing a hazmat suit, and hazmat jobs will be naturally immune. Details on these outbreaks will be broken into points below;

- Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think this would greatly improve roleplay all around. The feeling of panic as a pandemic sweeps the facility every so often could be a very fun experience for many players. The Medical Department would get much more to do and could work alongside the Research Department to develop better strategies and cures for the outbreaks, and the biohazard jobs would serve much more of a purpose rather than just very niche breaches like 008 or 049.

- An outbreak will turn a specific area into an infection zone. Anyone inside of or near the infection area will become infected with the disease. An automated announcement will be made to alert the facility of the outbreak. (Sterile areas such as 008s cell or the rear Medical Bay would be immune to having an infection area)
- Outbreaks must be quarantined and decontaminated in order to remove the infection zone. Infection zones can also be automatically removed after one hour of being active if it has not yet been decontaminated.
- The disease correlated with the infection zone will make people cough, have headaches, and slowly take damage to a minimum of 10 HP. (Optional: After 10 minutes of being infected, if you have not been cured, the disease will begin to damage the player again until death)
- The disease must also be cured by the Medical Department, which will also be the main department along-side E-11 Biohazard Specialists who manage the outbreaks.
- (Optional: May also happen on surface or in GOI bases, where the CI or GOC would have to clear the pandemic)
